Exploring the many facets of loneliness, 11_11 is an experimental short film by Elsa Wong and Ray Tsou that dissects notes from everyday life. Ruminating on thoughts and our complicated relationships with loneliness, 11_11 contemplates individuality, connections and the paradoxical desolation and euphoric feelings we inevitably experience. Shot in 16mm, the film captures ephemeral glimpses of a person longing, daydreaming and dancing, blending daily reality and illusion to create visual poetry.
